Many thanks to Debbie Sims for her critique. South West Essex Canine Association 25th August 2025 I would like to thank the officers and committee for their invitation to judge and to the exhibits who entered under me. MINIATURE POODLES Class: 234 – Puppy (Entry: 1) (Absentee: 0) 1st Grace & Wood, Miss M & Mr T – Joleena Back in Black – 9 month Black dog with a pleasing head and eye with chiselling just starting with a good reach of neck. Has matching angles front and back with a good body plus spring of rib with depth of chest and good tail set. At times he slightly dropped his topline on the move. RBOB & BP Class: 235 – Special Yearling (Entry: 2) (Absentee: 1) 1st Walker, Mrs A H – Raeannes Black Velvet – 14 month Black dog. Have liked this dog for sometime and can say I wasn’t disappointment when I finally got to judge him. He has an elegant but masculine head with chiselling, correct eye and clean back skull and a good chin. A good reach of neck leading down to a good front assembly and matching back end with a good tail set and let down of hocks. Has a dip in the back with good and spring of rib and lovely depth of chest with correct elbow placement. Has a wealth of coat with good texture and makes a lovely picture when stacked and didn’t disappoint on the move where he was balanced with good reach and drive. BOB Class: 236 – Post Graduate (Entry: 3) (Absentee: 2) 1st Walker, Mrs A H – Raeannes Black Velvet – see above critique Class: 237 – Open (Entry: 1) (Absentee: 1) STANDARD POODLES Class: 238 – Puppy (Entry: 2) (Absentee: 0) 1st Hunkin, Miss R – Renkiss of the Spiderwoman – 9 month black girl a lovely type square with the start of a good textured coat but needs time to mature. Good angles front and back with a good tail set, straight front leading down to tight feet and balanced on the move. BOB & BP 2nd Woodman, Miss V – Artemisfido Puss In Boots – 8 month black dog who is very immature, no chiselling yet but has a good chin. Slightly upright in shoulder and hopefully will drop back once he matures and his ribs spring has good angle behind. Was a complete clown on the move however did show some promising paces. Class: 239 – Special Yearling (Entry: 1) (Absentee: 1) Class: 240 – Post Graduate (Entry: 1) (Absentee: 0) 1st Stevenson, Miss T – Tazmitch Dance in the Stars – A lot to like about this pretty girl, lovely head with a wicked eye with chiselling and good chin. Good reach of neck but slightly upright in shoulder and fingers crossed will drop back once she puts on weight and hopefully her ribs spring and is balanced on the move. I personally would have liked more weight hence RBOB * After judging had a conversation with the owner and found out that she had been rescued and was really under weight when they got her but are desperately trying to get weight on her but she enjoys going out to the shows, wishing them good luck and a to have lot of fun with her. Class: 241 – Open (Entry: 2) (Absentee: 2) TOYS POODLES Class: 242 – Puppy (Entry: 0) (Absentee: 0) Class: 243 – Special Yearling (Entry: 2) (Absentee: 0) 1st Martin, Mrs S E – Philora Silver Fern – Silver 16 month really pretty girl with a elegant head and wicked eye with chiselling. Good reach of neck heading down to matching front and rear angles with spring of rib and good tail set and good textured coat and balanced on the move. Unfortunately she has completely lost the whole of her topknot which drastically effected the overall picture both on the move and stacked. RBOB 2nd Humphreys, Miss J H & Miss K H – Rebelwaters Dark Goddess – Pretty 18 month brown girl not quite the angles of 1 or as balanced on the move. Handled by a young and sympathetic handler. Class: 244 – Post Graduate (Entry: 2) (Absentee: 0) 1st Patterson, Mrs C – Philora Silver Luisa – Silver girl with pretty head and wicked eye matching front and rear angles. Good textured and wealth of coat is compact and makes a lovely picture when stacked. 2nd Humphreys, Miss J H & Miss K H – Rebelwaters Dark Goddess – see above critique Class: 241 – Open (Entry: 2) (Absentee: 0) 1st Martin, Mrs S E – Philora Silver Special – Silver dog compacted with a wealth of coat with good texture making a lovely picture when stacked and on the move. Lovely head and eye with chiselling, good reach of neck with moderate angles front and back with spring of rib and depth of chest. BOB 2nd Humphreys, Miss J H & Miss K H – Kenzduo Midnight Chic – black dog in pet trim, heavier in head and 1 good reach of neck not quiet the angles of 1 balanced on the move. Handled by a young and sympathetic handler. Debbie Sims
Many thanks for the critique from Simon Burton. SOUTH WEST ESSEX CANINE ASSOCIATION OPEN SHOW MONDAY 25TH AUGUST 2025 Apologies for the lateness of this report owing to personal circumstances beyond my control. Thank you to the committee for the opportunity to judge Toy breeds and my first Toy Group. It was Toy day at Driffield which probably reduced numbers entered but I still had good entries and some top quality dogs to judge which all made for a very memorable day. CAVALIER KING CHARLES SPANIEL – SP/Y (5,1) 1. Boutle’s Applebroad Pink Lady. 15 months blen bitch with a super outline. Lovely head with flat skull, stop not too defined, dark, round eyes, correctly set and with a gentle expression, tapered muzzle, lips well developed, all framed by high set ears, which were long and well feathered. Enough length of neck into a super front, angulation spot on, straight legs with nice bone and compact, well feathered feet. Still to mature in body as you’d expect but good depth of chest, level topline and short coupled. Gentle curve over the croup to a well set tail, nicely feathered. Excellent rear with angulation totally balancing the front with well turned stifles and straight hocks. In good silky coat with plenty of feathering, in pristine condition, chestnut markings well broken up with pearly white background. Moved out with freedom, using her angulation to reach and drive holding her outline at all times and very sound. Quality bitch and pleased to award her RBOB. 2. Dawson’s Hearthfriend High Hopes At Luphenex. This 6 months baby was another with a super outline and took my eye immediately. Appealing head with flat skull, lovely large, dark eyes, well set, would prefer a slightly less defined stop but a good tapering muzzle with nice lips, high set ears of good length with the beginnings of feathering, all combining to give a friendly, inquisitive expression. Good length of neck into a cracking front, well angulated and lovely bone, straight legs and compact, well feathered feet. Good body shape with level topline, rounded curve over the croup to a correctly set tail. Super rear with well turned stifles and well let down hocks. Really rich chestnut markings, well broken up with pearly white, in gleaming condition. Moved out freely with super length of stride as you’d expect with his angulation, beautifully balanced and holding his topline and an excellent showman, just needs to tighten a touch up and down but that will come. Very promising puppy whose career I will watch with interest. BP and then later in the day pleased to award him Toy Puppy Group 1. Congratulations! 3. Stoilkova-Stoyanova’s Tangra Ot Rila. 14 months. PG (5,2) 1. Boutle’s Applebroad Red Prince. Beautiful young blen male of 15 months, litter brother to 1 in Sp/Y. Super type and quality, masculine but classy with a gorgeous head. Flat skull, almost has the blen spot, good shallow stop, tapered muzzle with well developed but not overdone lips, black nose, beautiful eyes, large, round and dark, super ears, high set, long and well feathered, all combining to give a gentle, almost pleading expression. Enough length of neck, excellent front with great return of upper arm bringing the forelegs back under the body, correct bone, legs and feet which are well feathered. Good depth of chest, still maturing in body as you’d expect, superb level topline, short coupled and gentle curve over the croup to a correctly set and well feathered tail. Rear angulation matches the front with good turn of stifle and well let down hocks all combining to give that super balance. Classically marked with rich chestnut islands amongst the pearly white background, shining, silky and in tip top condition. So balanced on the move where he goes freely with reach and drive, holding a perfect topline and really covering the ground. A true toy spaniel who just needs maturity and then I can see him really hitting the high spots. No hesitation in awarding him BOB and later in the day G2, only beating by the more mature Pom. 2. Stoilkova-Stoyanova’s Mecho From Pirin. Masculine b/t male of 14 months. Not the exceptional head of 1 whose flatter skull and less distinct stop I preferred. Large, round, dark eyes, not too close together, black nose and well developed lips, long, well feathered ears that could be a little higher set. Moderate length of neck, well put together front with good bone and well feathered feet. Still to mature fully in body but ribbing is reasonably well sprung already, longer in loin than 1 and a little more angular over the croup but his well angulated rear balances his front nicely. Lower set tail of good length and well feathered. Well marked b/t coat is silky with raven black and rich tan and in good coat with a lovely sheen. Very sound on the move and is an active and easy mover but not the length of stride, reach and drive of 1 on the day. 3. Street & Page’s Hearthfriend Black Magic At Pipaddie. O (4,1) 1. Street & Page’s Luphenex Highland Dancer At Pipaddie. Honest tri bitch of 3 years. Flattish skull, would prefer a less definite stop, large, dark, round eyes and tapering muzzle with lip development in keeping with a bitch and high set, long, well feathered ears. Correct, unexaggerated length of neck, good conformation with correct angulation in front and rear. Slightly lighter in bone, pasterns a little slack, well feathered, compact feet. Good body, depth of chest and spring of rib, level topline and short coupled. A little more angular over the croup and tail is set high. Rear angulation is good although could have a little more length of second thigh. Silky coat, quite heavily marked with black but it is still broken up, correct tan markings and lovely white base colour. Moves out freely and with activity, would like a lower tail carriage but holds a level topline. 2. Stoilkova-Stoyanova’s Iren Miracle Of Hope (Imp Bgr). Short coupled male b/t import of 4 years. Skull could be a little flatter and stop a little shallower. Lovely, dark, round eyes, full of expression, black nose, tapering muzzle, could have a little more lip development, correct high set ears which are long and well feathered. A little short in neck which just detracts from the required elegant look. Well made front with good bone, legs and feet which are compact and well feathered. Plenty of width and depth of chest, well sprung ribs, short loin, level topline, could carry a little less ‘covering’ to advantage. Unexaggerated quarters with well turned stifles and low set hocks. Gentle curve over the croup to a correctly set and carried tail. Could have a little more length of second thigh. In good coat, silky with a permissible wave to the body coat and good b/t markings. Moves out freely with energy, just a little narrow behind. 3. Dawson’s Luphenex Highland Fling. 3 years. PAPILLON – SP/Y (3,2) 1. Diprose’s Lastayla Perfect Purdy To Lilacrose. Quality young b/w bitch of 10 months. There is a dainty elegance about her and she has classic type and excellent balance. Feminine head with correct skull shape, definite stop and lovely finely pointed muzzle with strong little jaw. Sparkling dark eyes, not too big and beautifully set, mobile ears with good fringing for age and a nice blaze, all combining to give that butterfly look. Correct length of neck flows into a super front, well angulated with fine, strong bone to straight forelegs and hare feet. Good depth of chest, still maturing in body, correct length to height proportions and super, level topline. Tail is high set, arched over the back with good fringes, Excellent quarters balancing the front with well turned stifles and parallel from behind. Lovely fine, silky coat with good fringing for her age. Active and light on the move, covering the ground with super carriage and balance, holding her outline perfectly and already a polished little showgirl. It was a tough decision for BOB between this girl and the Open winner but I loved her daintiness, alert bearing and classic head and expression so I stuck my neck out and awarded her BOB & BP and later awarded her PG2. Congratulations. PG (3,2) 1. Emans’ Baillion Black Pearl. Typy b/w bitch of 3 years. Feminine headpiece with good skull shape, defined stop, nice blaze, fine pointed muzzle, correctly set dark eyes, large, well set, mobile ears with good fringing. Medium length of neck, well constructed front with fine but strong bone to straight forelegs. Pasterns a little slack but good, hare feet. Topline is level with good length of loin, depth of chest and spring of rib. Hindquarters are balanced with the front and her tail is correctly set and carried correctly when she wants to. In good silky coat and feathering. She moved out really well, light on her feet and so effortless with good reach and drive but tended to drop her tail a touch standing. O (4,3) 1. Davidson-Poston’s Rom Ch/Rom GCh/Club Ch Elena Kolekcja Szuwarka Spinillons JW Club JR Ch (IKC). Showy tri bitch of 2 years and different in type to the previous class winners. Good skull shape, perhaps a little broader than some, definite stop, wide blaze and fine pointed muzzle with good underjaw, dark, round eyes, not too big and superbly fringed, mobile ears, correctly set. Correct length of neck, well laid shoulder, could have a bit more return of upper arm which would move her forelegs back under the body. Slightly more bone to forelegs and pasterns a touch slack but super hare feet with tufts of hair between the toes. Good width and depth of chest, ribs well sprung, level topline, correct length of loin, well angulated rear with well turned stifles and rear pasterns parallel from behind. In silky coat with good fringes even if not quite in full coat. Moved out with gusto, well balanced with lightness and energy and very sound. Pleased to award her RBOB. POMERANIAN – PG (4,1,1W/D,1Transfer to Open) 1. Hills’ Trenarwyn Catherine Wheel At Sharhazlah. Feminine black bitch of 2 years. Good, slightly flat skull, dark, oval eye and finely pointed muzzle with well set ears, small and neat, all combining to give a foxy expression. Shortish neck, well laid shoulder, fine bone to straight legs with neat, cat like feet. Would like her a little shorter coupled and ribcage is a little short compared to loin, super high tailset, tail turned over back with profuse plume. Correctly angulated rear and stands parallel from behind. Good harsh texture to outer coat, dense, soft undercoat, could have a little more volume but I’m sure that will come. Moved out briskly and freely but would prefer a straighter foreleg in profile. O (3,1) 1. Moores’ Ch Klassna Tell Me More With Chibaya. Top quality orange bitch of 4 years and full of type. Lovely head with correct skull, dark, oval, sparkling eyes, fine muzzle with a strong little underjaw and correctly set, neat ears, used constantly giving a lovely foxy expression. Short neck, into a super front, well angulated and with fine bone to straight forelegs and neat, catlike feet, Good depth of chest and spring of rib, level topline, short coupled, and high set tail correctly carried turned over back with profuse harsh coat adding to the desired, ball like outline. Neat little quarters, moderately angulated with parallel hocks. In full double coat, well presented. Moves out briskly, light on her feet, covering the ground with buoyancy, full of self-importance and showing well for her excellent young handler. A pleasure to award her BOB and later Toy G1 – Congratulations. Not surprised to find out later that she is a Ch and I understand she retired soon after this show so I’m glad I had the opportunity to judge her, she’s a super example of the breed. 2. Hills’ Sharhazlah Kamikazi Devil. Compact 4 years black bitch with a little grey on the face. Good head and expression with correct skull, dark, oval eyes and fine muzzle with neat ears, set correctly but she was a little reluctant to use them. Short neck, good, well angulated front, fine bone to straight forelegs and neat, cat feet. Level topline, short coupled, with correct high set tail which turns over back, covered with harsh plume. Super rear, balancing the front with moderate angulation but stands well with short rear pasterns, nice and parallel from behind. Rather out of coat but what she had was harsh with a dense undercoat. Sound on the move going with typical brisk, buoyant action in profile holding her outline. A deserving RBOB. AVNSC TOY – PG (4,3a) 1. Waller’s Scapafield Schwarz Swallow At Lilnrose. Affenpinscher. Sturdy young bitch of 2 years. Good head shape, small in proportion to body, with good breadth and dome to skull, marked stop and short, blunt muzzle. Lovely dark, round eyes with mischievous expression. Good bite, chin and turnup. Ears could be a little smaller. Short neck, Moderate angulation with straight forelegs, and neat, round feet. Good width and depth of chest, nice and square in proportions, well sprung ribs, short, level back, correct slight fall over croup to tailset. Neat hindquarters with moderate angulation, balancing the front, with low set hocks, tail set and carried high. Harsh coat, shaggy and natural. Moved out easily and soundly with typical goose step in front. RBOB AVNSC. O (2,0) 1. Maskell’s Scapafield Schwartz Quarrel. Super quality Affenpinscher male of 5 years. Cracking head and expression with correct skull shape, brow and stop, short, blunt muzzle, good mouth with nice chin, sparkling, dark eyes correctly set and neat drop ears, set high, all framed in the typical shaggy, rough coat that gave him that delightfully quizzical, monkey like expression. Short neck, well made front, good width of chest and sturdy build with straight legs and round feet. Correct proportions height to length, mature in body with well sprung ribs, short, straight back, slight slope from croup to high set tail, moderate angulation in the rear, balancing the front. Really harsh coat, shaggy and dense, presented naturally. Moved out in important fashion with great goose step in front, good rear action and very sound up and down, holding his outline. In the class he carried his tail perfectly but in the group I was disappointed that he didn’t look quite so happy and had his tail down as he had the quality to be in consideration for top honours. BOB AVNSC and I couldn’t deny him G3. 2. James’ Ollarena Wishing Star Over Jeshua. Attractive long haired br/t Russian Toy bitch of 3 years. Elegant, long legged and fine boned. Feminine head with slightly rounded skull, definite stop and pointed muzzle with good, strong little jaw, round eyes correctly set and looking straight forward, large, thin, erect ears with abundant fringing. Would’ve liked a little more length of neck, correct, moderately angled front, slightly out at elbows but straight front legs and neat, oval feet. Oval ribbing, correct depth of chest, lovely curved underline, when standing her topline is not as good as 1 with a slope up rather than down from withers to croup. Correct slight slope from croup to high set tail which is well feathered and carried sickle fashion. Moderate rear angulation, hind legs are nice and parallel. Coat is straight and shows off the natural body contours with feathering in the right places and nicely marked. Moves out well once she settled, brisk, lively and nicely balanced and her topline improves when moving, quite a stylish little bitch. AV TOY – P (5,3,1W/D) 1. Street & Page’s Hearthfriend Highlander At Pipaddie. Blen Cavalier boy of 6 months and litter brother to my BP. Good overall outline and head type. Flat skull, stop ok, correct muzzle with lips well developed, lovely dark, round eye, well set and lovely long ears, set on high, framing the face, all contributing to a typical gentle expression. Very much a baby but well made with correct angulation front and rear, good bone, legs and well feathered feet. Moderate length of neck, level back, short in the loin and gentle curve over the croup to well set on tail. Silky coat with the beginnings of feathering, rich chestnut markings, well broken up and pearly white background, even has the prized spot on the skull! Moves out freely, covering the ground. Just needs lots of time and a bit more confidence as most of the essentials are there. SP/Y (7,3) 1. Boutle’s Applebroad Pink Lady. Cavalier. 2. Stoilkova-Stoyanova’s Mecho From Pirin. Cavalier. 3. Hollister’s Hollichi Designer Baby. S/C Chihuahua. PG (8,4,1W/D) 1. Stoilkova-Stoyanova’s Tangra Ot Rila. Tri Cavalier bitch of 14 months. Typical head type with flat skull, correct shallow stop, good muzzle with well developed lips. Could have a little more fill below the eyes. Large, round eyes, wouldn’t want them any larger, lovely long, well feathered ears set high. Moderate length of neck. Well constructed front and rear, moderate bone, straight forelegs, feet ok. Good depth of chest and maturing nicely in body, level topline, short in the couplings, tail set on almost on level with back, no exaggeration in hindquarters. Lovely silky coat in beautiful bloom with feathering on the way. Moved out freely, a sound, happy mover, covering the ground, just has a tendency to raise her tail a touch high going round. 2. Street & Page’s Luphenex Highland Dancer At Pipaddie. Cavalier 3. 3. Emans’ Baillion Been Dreaming. Papillon. O (3,1) 1. Hollister’s Copymear Cleopatra At Hollichi. Quality fawn S/C Chihuahua bitch of 4 years, dainty and well balanced. Typy head with apple dome skull, clean cheeks, definite stop, moderate length of muzzle, slightly pointed with strong jaw, lovely eyes, dark and round, good size, flaring ears, correctly set, all contributing to a lovely alert, saucy expression. Moderate length of neck, really good front, well angulated, lovely infill of chest, fine bone, straight forelegs, slight spring to pasterns and neat, little feet. Good depth of chest, mature body with good spring of rib, correct proportions length to height, level topline, super rear end, well angulated and well muscled with hocks well let down. Great little beaver tail, high set and carried perfectly. Soft, smooth, tight jacket and she moves out briskly with lovely balance, good reach and drive, holding a perfect topline and she is a super showgirl. Rear movement going away could be better but I really liked her. 2. Dawson’s Luphenex Highland Fling. Mature blen Cavalier dog of 3 years. Head could be a little more masculine. Good flat skull, would like a less defined stop, tapered muzzle with well developed lips, lovely round, dark eyes, not too large, and long, high set ears, dripping with silky feathering. Moderate length of neck, well laid shoulder and good return of upper arm, moderate bone to straight forelegs, feet a bit on the flat side but well feathered. Good depth of chest and spring of rib, level topline, gentle curve over the croup to a well set on tail. Stifles are well bent but hocks not parallel from behind. In full coat of bright chestnut on a pearly white background. Moves out well in profile although he has a tendency to sidewind and he was rather narrow behind going away on the day. Typical gentle, affectionate temperament which always makes judging a pleasure. V (4,1) 1. Davidson-Poston’s Ch/Ir/NL/Int Ch Spinillons Rebel Rowser JW ShCm CW14 VW ShCEx ROM VCh Club VCh. One word describes this incredible 14 year old b/w Papillon and that is WOW! Superb outline, proportions and balance, full of quality. Gorgeous head and expression, slightly rounded skull, well defined stop and finely pointed muzzle with strong little jaw, perfect mouth, sparkling dark eyes, correctly set, white blaze and large, mobile, heavily fringed butterfly ears, correctly set and used constantly, giving him such a charming, alert and gentle expression. Medium length of neck, he is so well constructed front and rear with straight forelegs, fine but strong bone and long hare like feet, well tufted. Correct length of body with level topline, well sprung ribs, good length of loin, long tail, set high and arched over back with profuse plume. Well angulated rear with good turn of stifle and well let down hocks, parallel from behind. In full, flowing, silky coat, in pristine condition. Moved superbly, light, free-flowing, covering the ground steadily with a lovely rhythm and cadence and sound up and down. The only concession he’s possibly made to ageing so far is that his pasterns are perhaps a touch slacker than in his younger days and the odd grey hair on his head – he is an incredible little dog and obviously dearly loved. It wasn’t until I saw the catalogue after judging that I found out who he was and realised that he is a dog I have always loved from his puppy days as seen in his owner’s ads in the dog annuals. I never dreamed I would ever get to judge him but I’m so glad I did as it just confirmed everything that I had thought from looking at photos of him, he is very special and worthy of all his titles. An easy Best Toy Veteran and had he been in the main adult group he would have been a serious contender for the top placings despite his age. However, he still did me proud as he went on to top the lot with Best Veteran in Show – his 13th I understand! Huge Congratulations, he is fabulous and thank you for bringing him! 2. Dawson’s Luphenex Little Lady Katie RL2 VW. Happy tri Cavalier bitch of 8 years. Feminine head, eye and expression with flattish skull, slight stop, tapered muzzle with well developed lips, dark, round eyes and long ears, high set with profuse, silky feathering. Moderate length of neck, well made front, straight forelegs, a little down on her pasterns now, well feathered feet, good depth of chest and spring of rib, not the topline of 1 as it rises up from behind withers to loin, curve over the croup to well angulated rear with well bent stifles and low set hocks. Tail well set and feathered. In fully, silky coat with abundant feathering. Would like body colour more broken up but her coat was in lovely condition and the colours well defined with raven black and rich tan on the pearly white background. Moves out freely, covering the ground but just let down a bit by her topline and tail carriage on the day. 3. Danks’ Leeabbie Toodie’s Delight At Alsidewood. Cavalier. TOY GROUP – I really enjoyed my first Toy Group and although it wasn’t huge in numbers the quality more than made up for that. Congratulations to you all. G1 Pomeranian - Moores’ Ch Klassna Tell Me More With Chibaya. This super Pom bitch in wonderful bloom is in her prime. Short backed, super legs and feet, delightfully foxy head and expression, sound as a bell and moving briskly with that buoyant carriage, in full coat and showing well for her talented handler. No hesitation in awarding her the top spot. G2 Cavalier - Boutle’s Applebroad Red Prince. I loved this boy. Gorgeous type, masculine, quality head and expression, so soundly made with perfect angulation, great legs and feet, level topline, in superb condition and moving with reach and drive holding his flawless outline. Just needs a little more maturity in body and width behind and this allowed the Pom to pip him at the post. No disgrace in being awarded G2, his time will come without a doubt. G3 Affenpinscher - Waller’s Scapafield Schwarz Swallow At Lilnrose. I enthused about this super Affen in his class critique. So sturdy, well made, with the benefit of maturity and that delightfully monkey-like head and expression, correct topline, great coat and moving out in such typical fashion with that lovely goose step. Just would not raise his tail and show which was such a shame but I could not deny him G3. G4 Papillon - Diprose’s Lastayla Perfect Purdy To Lilacrose. This dainty Pap is still a puppy but he showed off his lovely outline, quality head and expression, level topline and sound, light-footed movement, silky coat and furnishings in typical butterfly fashion. Lots of promise for the future and pleased to award him G4. TOY PUPPY GROUP – G1 Cavalier - Dawson’s Hearthfriend High Hopes At Luphenex. This baby is so well put together with a classic outline and full of type, Still lots of maturing to do as you’d expect, particularly in head but has a sweet expression, rich colouring and moves out with reach and drive, covering the ground impressively and holding his level topline. He had to take PG1 and I will follow his progress with interest. G2 Papillon - Diprose’s Lastayla Perfect Purdy To Lilacrose. This lovely young Pap had a good day. Still showing beautifully and doing everything asked of him. A little more mature than 1 but just preferred the exceptional reach and drive of the Cav on the move. Sure to do well in the future.
